Code of Conduct for European Lawyers

The Code of Conduct for European Lawyers, issued by the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe, is applicable to lawyers’ cross-border activities.

This European Code of Conduct was adopted by the Council of Bars and Law Societies of Europe (CCBE) in 1988, and was last amended in 2006. It is applicable to all cross-border activities of lawyers in the European Union and the European Economic Area.
